Ansys MotorCAD enables you to create electric machines quickly using multiphysics simulations across all torque-speeds.

Motor-CAD enables design engineers to evaluate motor topologies and concepts across the full operating range, to produce designs that are optimized for performance, efficiency and size. The four integrated modules in Motor-CAD software – Emag, Therm Lab and Mech -allow multiphysics calculations that can be performed quickly, iteratively, and so users can go from concept to final product in less time.

Motor-CAD users have the time and flexibility to quickly calculate and input data, which allows them to explore more motor topologies.

  • 64-bit Intel or AMD system, running Windows 10.

  • A dedicated graphics card capable of supporting OpenGL, DirectX 11 and 4.5. Integration graphics (e.g. Intel HD/IRIS isn’t recommended and is not supported by the Analyze Stage in Discovery. Please see below for specific graphics requirements for ANSYS® Discovery Live.
