Modbus poll is a Modbus master simulator that helps developers of Modbus slaves devices or other people who want to simulate the Modbus protocol. With the multiple document interface, you can monitor several Modbus slaves and/or data areas at the same time. You simply need to specify the Modbus slave ID and address for each window. Size, poll rate, and function can all be set up. You can read and write registers and coils from any window. Double-click the register you wish to change. Or, you can modify multiple registers/coils. You can choose from multiple data formats, such as long with word swapping, double, or float.

Exception errors are shown on the status line.

If you’re a slave designer, you can write and send your own test string to the “testcenter” and receive the result back in hex numbers.

OLE Automation for interfacing with Excel. To interpret and display Modbus data in accordance with your requirements. E.g. You can edit Excel data, and then transfer it to your slave computer! Install Excel example.xlsm with the program.
